Grab a textured fabric—towel, washcloth, cotton shirt.


Rub it between your palms, fingers, arms.


Press it to your face, neck, or shoulders.


Feel the texture fully.


Let it interrupt the numbness.


Inhale through your nose.


Exhale through your mouth with sound.


Let sensation remind you: you’re here, and you still feel things.
